We finally get to the Age of Apocalypse, with a very slightly redressed version of my usual alley set!
Even though he would have a long run in Exiles, Morph is a solid representative of the AoA. I've had that figure for years, and I think this is the first time we're seeing him?
Ok, so it’s The Omega Man with pre-mutated mutants. I’m guessing there’ll be a lot of sending stuff to hell, assuming Sat’s powers still work here. Also, I’m sure it won’t come to anything but I am trying like hell to read that backwards sign.
Ah, that sign is actually facing the wrong way: I believe it's from the Marvel Select Punisher? And I think it's supposed to say "Matthew's Tavern" but reads more like "Matthens Tavern."
Matthew's Tavern? So in the AoA universe, Matt Murdock runs a bar, rather than studying for the bar.
If a character from the AoA Earth gets banished to Hell, can they even tell the difference? "Eh, there's a little more fire, but the infrastructure's better maintained."
I’d certainly say so yeah. Well this should be fun. Summer in the AoA!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteMe too. I held it up to a mirror but it’s still hard to read. Stupid cursive writing! It’s either Plattparts or Playmates?

ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, mystery solved.
