Got the Diamond Select iZombie figure last week, and knocked this strip out over an evening. Liv and Pool are pretty close height-wise, when in real life she's shorter, but it's close enough to fudge.
Relating to this, I recently watched a video that actually delves into that topic and about the weaknesses of having a healing factor, and how even if you were to regrow your body parts and all, you can't regrow your memories because they a certain combination of brain synapses and stuff. Very interesting stuff, but basically you'd be a husk, a blank copy, retaining none of the memories you previously had before you got injured. Oh and out of all the X-Men and comic movies, only one of the worst one, Wolverine: Origins, actually addresses this.

You are correct! But DP and Wolvie's healing factors are basically magic at this point: they shouldn't retain memories at the cellular level, but here we are.
I thought that would be a way for a new writer (or a canny old one) to change direction: DP/Wolvie takes a brutal headwound, and not only loses most of his recent memories, he doesn't feel like he's that same guy anymore. The "new" version starts trying to go his own way and differentiate himself from the old, cutting ties with his current supporting cast, and doing something new. (Or new to him, anyway; DP could go back to villainy-mercing thinking he was so cutting edge, when he'd already done it for years!)
Right? But then they'd be returned back to their status quo, so..... But yeah, this reasoning would've been another good excuse for Claremont to turn wolvie bad back when he had plans to do so, but the Hand was going to brainwash him. They could still go with this idea though since I don't think its been done yet with these guys. Logan probably, but not Wade I think.
