That web-shooter is from the old Toy Biz Scarlet Spider, and I was going to steal a page from his book and fill the mobile with his impact webbing...except I was terrified of using web fluid or silly-string and staining Sat or Cat! They would be a bother to replace; not least of all because I'm too attached to them. But there is an alternate version of Black Cat hitting the shelves about now. Not sure about it...
Ha! Love that line about lunatics booby-trapping the glovebox. I can see it. That Black Cat will probably grow on you if you let her. She's not as hideous out the box as one would expect. While I prefer the older version, you can always imagine the newer one is the ultimate comics universe version, so you could develop either a natural rivalry between them or they'd hit it off and hate on Spider-Man together.

Ah, the Spider-Mobile. What trouble didn't Johnny get Pete into?
ReplyDeleteOh, and kudos for avoiding the easy joke there.
A hoot as usual. I am constantly amazed by the way that you somehow manage to portray genuine emotion from a static action figure.
