If I remember my Lance Armstrong, 'doping' is getting extra blood transfused into you before a big event, which could account for Venompool's over-inflated stature. Maybe.
Kurt is probably joking, but of course he's referring to
Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #3, where Spidey overhears the X-Men about to join Magneto...for reasons. Manufactured drama reasons. Spidey then just pants the lot of them, but gets a little mindwipe from Professor X to keep him from 'tattling' to Captain America and the other heroes. In-continuity, did Spidey ever get his memory of that back? I know there have been some Spider-Man/X-Men books, but I haven't read all of them.

ReplyDeleteLegit question. Maybe? Probably not. It's not Zatanna/Batman IC-levels of mindwiping, but it was still a dick move on Xavier's part,(proving Spidey right) and most DEFINITELY not the last time he pulled out that particular party trick.
ReplyDeleteSam's got a point, but then again 90's Midnight Sons Morbius was pretty down for fighting (and bumping) uglies, so...
Ha, "They should count"
Sad thing is going off the CIA's past, there's a shit ton of those off the books missions/coups that should count but don't....for reasons.
