"Tan."

I don't think I've ever had Point Beer, despite having known about it for years from old issues of Badger. I'm not sure I'd know a good beer from moose piss anymore, though: I like a Guinness every so often, but used to have a system where I would start the evening with 'good' beer, like Henry Weinhards or such, and over the course of the evening keep reducing the quality (and price) of my drinks until I was swilling PBR at four in the morning.

  1. There's a beer called Point Beer? Honestly never heard of it until today. I just thought "You drank all the Point in the place" was a spelling error.

Not sure if this is the case or not, but at least for me, beer has become an acquired taste...as in I had to learn to be ok with the taste of beer if I wanted to get drunk on the cheap if I wasn't in the mood for wine or liquor.

I usually prefer Dos Equis or something similar or even a Good Angry Orchard if I'm in the mood for some hard cider. Maybe Bud Light if I'm feeling white trashy. Although I'll confess to having had a couple cases of those flavored White Claws not that long ago. In my defense, they weren't that bad & pretty well-priced. Same for the flavored Smirnoff malt beers.

  2. I'm not sure how you could tell if Kurt was tanned. Maybe he's a darker shade of blue? By the way, digging that mood lighting in panels 4 and 5 (if that's what you were going for).

I'm a bit confused about the timeline here. Is this before the Sentry stuff or is Sat just lying about why Quasar can't remember? Are you done with that storyline and moving on or bringing Kurt in on it?

I'm not much of a drinker myself. Never got used to the taste or smell of alcohol but I'll occasionally have something Japanese if I'm at a restaurant. Those aren't as strong to me.

  3. Sat is covering a bit, but she's an advanced liar: her lies are probably more revealing than the truth. I'm glad you like the lights: I got some cheap LED's and stuck them along the 'ceiling.' I don't know if we'll use it all the time, but I overexpose so many pictures, I wanted to try something else!

  4. That's probably for the best- they make for a good change of pace but wouldn't work as the regular lighting level.
