You definitely do hit upon an interesting idea in that Wonder Man is technically but by the loosest definition of the word, a movie star in the MU (and possibly in the MCU if Disney ever gets their shit together) so it would make sense that word about his film career has gotten out to reach other alien audiences. I can only imagine the amount of roasting he gets from his rogues gallery, specifically his brother Eric.
On a side note, exactly how much does a Darkhawk go for on the black market these days?
I went and looked on Amazon, which wasn't what you meant! ($70!) I know there's the Fraternity of Raptors, who probably don't want free-agent/privately owned Darkhawks; but they're magic robots! They can't be cheap.
