"Face."

I seriously don't recall if Moon Knight could use his ankh for anything, or if Sat and Kurt are right and I'm thinking Thundercats. I do think he could use it like a crucifix against vampires maybe? Can he use it for exorcisms? "The power of Khonshu compels you! THE POWER OF KHONSHU COMPELS YOU!"

Good question, maybe? I’m sure it all boils down to the power & amount of one’s faith. Definitely interesting how a Jewish person would reconcile using an Egyptian symbol given the obvious historical context.

  2. No, I think you got it right. That’s at least what Doctor Fate uses the ankh for- to see the unseeable and traverse great distances.

I still think MK has some use here even if he can’t see D’Spayre yet- he’s the mysterious character I’ve been expecting to show up the past couple of weeks. We’ll see if I’m right soon (or maybe a bit later if someone else shows up- ok, I’ll stop being cryptic it’s Typhoid Mary).

  3. Was the ankh one of the weapons Englehart said Hawkeye whipped up during that West Coast Avengers adventure into the past? If so, I'd doubt it was for anything except clocking somebody over the head.

I know Jed MacKay had Marc Spector discuss being one of Khonshu's priests, after being raised Jewish, in some discussion with his psychiatrist, but I don't remember much off the top of my head (other than Ben Grimm apparently sends Marc a Hanukkah card every year.)

  4. I wanted to ask that! There were a couple throwing items like a bola and some weird darts--it's the panel recaptioned "Random bull#### go!"--and those were Hawkeye made. But the ankh I think the Egyptians had first...

Next week, two guys we've seen before, that I paired up earlier!
