I barely had enough New Warriors material for a single strip, sorry. Conversely, I feel like I could write Jimmy Woo all day! He's a weirdly upbeat by-the-book type with a can-do attitude that borders on psychosis. As we'll see next time, Everett is less so.
You know Woo & Ross were only made for specifically for adult collectors because there’s no way in hell kids are clamoring to collect boring ass civil servants like those two. I know Woo’s your cup of tea & you might be the only person to successfully sell me on him, but otherwise I’d prefer the REAL Agent Woo. Give me me that guy. I bet back in the day George Takai would’ve made for a solid Agent Woo.
ReplyDeletePoor kids but you just knew they being led like lambs to the slaughter. I’m curious who was the last one to fall during this brutal beat down. Spill it blog man! Who was it?
This whole emphasis on the word Secret makes me think we’re getting a makeshift variation on either the Secret Defenders or Avengers. Despite Marx’s history with that last one, I bet they go with secret defenders instead because no one’s going to sue them for using that name. Well maybe Dr. Strange if he’s in a bad mood that day.
@H: I take it you didn't watch WandaVision then. He's an FBI agent that was found himself involved with Wanda's takeover of a town. Go watch. It's good.
ReplyDeleteProbably yes. Extremely uncomfortable & awkward, leading to new kinks being discovered much like the world's worst/best game of Twister with the family.
Eh, I'm not really in the MCU shows. There are only about a half dozen Marvel shows I'm into anyway, mostly from the 60's and 90's and animated. DC tends to have a better track record but even they've not had much that hit me the last few years.
ReplyDeleteDC did and still does tend to have the better animated movies, that much is very true.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Jimmy Woo also in the second Ant-Man movie? I haven't seen WandaVision, but I'm sure I've seen the MCU Jimmy Woo and been disappointed by what a goober he is compared to his comic book, Agents of Atlas version.
