Yeah, that's really not an all day job.
Scan (mostly) from Image's Micronauts #8, "Invasion, part one" Story by Dan Jolley, pencils by Steve Kurth, inks by Barb Schulz.
I have a couple issues of the 2002 Image/Devil's Due relaunch/reimagining of the Micronauts from the quarter bins. Even with the toys from Palisades back on the shelves (we checked out Pharoid during Retro Toy Week!) I think the book was swamped, lumped together with other 80's toy relaunches about the same time, like ThunderCats and Voltron.
This month, Earthman Ryan Archer and his crew of rebels, the Micronauts; travel through the Rift back to earth. They arrive, about three inches tall; and big bad Baron Karza is about forty steps ahead of them in his invasion of Earth. Plus, as you can see here, he's putting some smiles on people's faces...
Sorry. Still, the little one standing in that guy's brain looks enthusiastic about his work.
I haven't read the rest of the series, and couldn't even tell you if it ended properly or merely cancelled. And I actually had something else planned for today, but I didn't want to end up with two Superman posts in a row. That one'll keep...
