"Deadbeard."

Sharks can get really old! I'm guessing I had seen that when I wrote this...

This may be me backfilling why Satana didn't burn Shiklah or Arcade's souls: absorbing too much energy would be bad for her...maybe like Strong Guy? Well, nobody wants that. Also, tossing them into hell, she's technically not killing them, more like deportation; possibly to avoid offending Kurt. (I don't write Kurt as religious, or especially bothered by murder; although he's no killer himself.) Or, I could be explaining away some of Sat's other looks in the past; which may or may not have been a terrible hat.

  1. Just throwing this out there, but that shark wouldn't happen to be Jeff the Shark would it? It'd be hell of a lot cooler & more convenient for you figure-wise if it was rather than having to hunt down A Jaws figure or something.

Also, you pretty just gave yourself a new possible subplot/story idea in that Satana might be later forced to absorb evil souls to save Kurt or a friend, guest-star, or whoever is the most plot convenient at the time. Should be fun to see just how demonic she becomes physically. If you have that old toy biz Mystique monster figure with the snap on monster face, that'd be PERFECT! Just a tiny suggestion.

  2. Wait, so is the pirate immortal now? Because he's pretty decayed in the middle there, and 'free from hell with time served' usually means a totally fresh start (mortality and all). Is he just going to be randomly popping up in the background sometimes?

That would be pretty sweet, actually.

  3. ^Yes, yes it would actually. I figure he also needs a new drinking buddy and I can think of dozens of characters more than up for that task.
