Yeah, so I ended up getting the DCUC Aquaman--sharp!--and Futurama's Zoidberg. I had held off on Zoidberg for quite a while partly because I'm a cheap bastard, and because I couldn't come up with a better joke for him than "What's this? Two meals in one week?" (And I can't do Zoidberg's voice, outside of my head, at all.) But with Zoidberg marked down to $6.99, I couldn't resist. And I came up with another bit for later, so it's was totally worth the temptation of the Robot Devil build-a-figure.
I'm not sure if I'm sold on the headsculpt of that Admiral Kirk figure, but there's a couple floating around at various sale prices. With the movie uniform Spock out now, both are tempting. Still, working on something for later, so more in a while...
Oh, and I did see Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Crystal Skull (or whatever the official title of the new one is...) this weekend, and liked it a lot, but one question: maybe this was just me, maybe this was a directing decision, maybe it's just Kate Blanchett, but as the villain, there were a couple times where I swore she was about to start crying. Like killing Indiana Jones was way more frustrating than she'd been prepared for: "Oh, come on! Die already! I'd die for you..."

I never would have thought about putting Zoidberg in with Namor and Arthur...but it WORKS! It works so damn well.
I salute you.
ALL HAIL ZOIDBERG!
I really, REALLY want a HypnoToad stuffed animal ...
Where was this marked-down Zoidberg bought from? I need a fish-monster for my office!
Those three should team-up and fight crime/solve mysteries. That would be amazing!
And I'm glad to see you pay attention to your commenter's. :P
On another note, I have no intention on seeing Indy until it's on normal TV...
Jesse,
Check Hot Topic! Oddly, they come through every now and again for toys. Fry was also on sale, but I have the old one; but the new one comes with the holophoner and Robot Devil parts. Shoot. The new Bender has interchangeable eyes, so that may end up a must have later.
Ace,
For some reason, I picture Namor and Aquaman is being forced to hang out, because everyone else "under the sea" is hideous. And go see Indy! It's worth it, and, um, there's popcorn. Yeah.
Sally and Sea,
A heads-up: I cannot wait to get the new DCUC Green Lantern: he'll be more in scale around here, and more poseable than the old one, and probably end up in some strips then. And over at Fanwank! they just had a GL strip, check it out!
I didn't see her reaction as crying so much as utter, cold-hearted fury over the old coot's stubbornness.
By the way, I love that "Little Atlantis" crack.
I think that's a pretty valid motivation for an Indiana Jones villain actually!
