"Quieter."

OAFE.net had a review of the latest Brother Voodoo figure, that lambasted it as largely unnecessary. It was basically the third figure of him, in the last ten years or so; with the second figure being pretty easily available, possibly even now. This latest one was in the "Strange Tales" wave, and aside from a slightly altered staff, the only thing going for it was the Build-a-Figure piece for Blackheart. But, a commenter pointed out, the Eye of Agamotto was removable...which led to this!

And despite appearing on the cover of the first issue of "The Douglock Chronicles" in Excalibur, Nightcrawler wasn't there to meet Zero. He was in Germany fighting D'spayre! I don't know if he got back in time, since Stryfe would destroy Zero in Excalibur #80, a comic I know I've read, but...yeah.

Well nice, now you have two sub-plots simultaneously going on again, unless you’re only going to sporadically check on this Zero unit’s adventures into DJing.
Looks like Sat needs to see a specialist about that mystic pimple/3rd eye. Is there a cosmic dermatologist in the house!? Looks like either Strange or Brother Voodoo’s making a house call. Speaking of, yeah it’s weird he gets like 3 figures but guys & gals like Jack of Hearts or Diamondback don’t have any yet.

What can I say- everybody loves Fred Hembeck, and Fred Hembeck loves Brother Voodoo. He’s got influence.

What I’m concerned about is that the eye moved- blinking and eyes are a natural pairing. But yeah- this seems like something that’ll go away on its own, for some reason. Maybe Wong could give her mystical ointment for it but if we’ve learned anything lately, it’s that ignoring a problem might be less hassle than trying to get rid of it.

God bless Fred Hembeck indeed. Didn’t know he was a big Brother Voodoo fan but I do remember him using him in that FF roast.

Not sure how long this particular problem will last but it seems like a something that could be resolved fairly quickly considering who they know as far as Wong, Strange, etc.
Very curious where to see this goes.

Oh yeah, he goofs on him all the time- he’s gone on record about how it’s a silly concept that usually gets played straight.
