May have to table discussion today...
Shoot. I moved several longboxes out to the garage last week, but when I went in yesterday, I discovered I had crushed my table: its legs had snapped off due to the weight! So, I'll be taking the next day or two, to get some more (heavy-duty) shelves. It's mildly annoying, if a not-unentirely unexpected expense; but I'm more sad about breaking that table. I'd had it for years, it just didn't fit in my house.

Same thing happened to me, except with a closet shelf. I ended doing about what you did, except with one of those single layer shelves.
