"Crystar."

I think I previously promised a 70% continuity/30% nonsense split, but Crystar doesn't have enough appearances to cover that spread. And we've blogged most of them here! I kind of feel like Crystar might have been more guarded, less willing to trust; after almost literally getting stabbed in the back by his brother and his girlfriend; but he had a pretty solid crew that probably kept him from becoming bitter and vindictive. That and he got another girlfriend virtually immediately, so...Even though it was a short series, there were several guest-stars: besides Kurt, Doctor Strange and later Alpha Flight appeared. And both Amanda Sefton and Puck act like "oh, Crystalium? You've never been?" Like it wasn't that uncommon. Although they might've referred to Ika as common, which is just rude. (Like he did for U.S. 1, Michael Golden delivered some covers that were above and beyond for a toy tie-in.)

But, my point was, what differentiates Crystar from other toy tie-in leads like He-Man or Lion-O? They were popular? No, I meant personality-wise, smartass. And I say that, not being particularly well-versed on the latter two; but all three were leaders of their respective bands of merry men. Hmm.

If you're not familiar with Lord Feldspar, take a moment and treat yourself: half-crystal, half-magma, and apparently wearing only a codpiece so you can bask in both. Feldspar had himself half-done by the respective wizards of the good and bad sides, to represent neutrality. Filthy neutrals...
Feldspar had an action figure, that was probably clogging discount bins at KB Toys into the 90's. I never had any, but that's probably okay.

Ika huh? Well I mean, it’s not like Kurt can help being an irresistible ladies man right?😏

Also, is Ika related to Iko from the Iko Iko song from the Belle Stars?

Speaking of exes, Crystar & Satana!?!? Really!?
Exactly how much of her dad’s realm extends into other dimensions like Crystar’s?
