"Hep."

I think I mentioned before that we got Marvel Boy, right? Eh, he's okay. Better than that "Protector" figure he got, anyway; although it feels weird to have two figures of him.

Also, despite having once been very into music, I don't think I've ever been to Pitchfork? Huh.

That apt description of Crystar’s DJing was oddly specific, haha. I’m sure that’ll look good in a future issue of Rolling Stone magazine….that is if it’s still being published.

That’s not Crystar DJing though, right? Does he have a human form? I really don’t know much about Crystar, do I?

Everything alright, goo? This one seems a bit different than usual- you usually do something from the first panel for the title, and you’ve got a bit of an error in the first panel anyway. Also, seems like you dropped the Crystar stuff pretty quickly (unless that is him behind the turntables).

Speaking of, what does it say about me that I don’t know which one is Marvel Boy? Actually, are they both Marvel Boy? I feel like there’s six or seven of them out there- Marvel really wants to lock that name down.

The DJ is the Marvel Boy Grant Morrison created, and Bendis (I think) later brought into the Avengers, and then ended up in one of those versions of Young Avengers with Kate and one of the younger Lokis; I dunno which, I didn't read the book. Gillen and McKelvie were the creative team, I remember that.

Ugh, another one to fix in post, but that'll have to wait a bit. And H is right, I broke the usual naming convention, and maybe break it again in two weeks! Crystar can't change back-and-forth; and we'll see if he shows up again.

I liked the original Morrison mini-series, but I should confess I haven't read many of his later appearances: I've read Hawkeye but not Young Avengers.

Ah, Grant Morrison- that explains the look. Those blond hair, blue eye boy toy types are a bit of a recurring thing. Come to think of it, lot of those Aryan types and Nazis in Grant Morrison’s stuff- what’s up with that?

Good question 🤔
