"See."
Although the plot doesn't move even incrementally forward this week, I think we're maybe coming up on the end of the D'spayre storyline. Maybe. I did have this notion, of the bar getting trashed, if not leveled; then building a new, "remodeled" bar set. But I don't really have the time right now, even though I have maybe another set piece coming in the mail this week. Which, co-incidentally, we mentioned, um, about a year back.

I’m not exactly all that comforted by the fact that Sat admitted not even Hell has good healthcare, which is definitely saying something about the US. Plus I’m sure Sat’s too lazy, sorry, doesn’t have the time to go through the proper channels to get good medication. Never a good pill mill when you need one…but at least there’s meth (?)
Speaking of, pretty sure this counts as a super-brief intro into the debate about certain medication being nothing more than the “acceptable” way of using drugs to fix/run from your problems because they’re prescribed from a doctor versus taking street drugs to do it instead. Definitely not what you intended, but here we are.
I think it’s more ‘Princess of Darkness’ doesn’t really count as an occupation. I doubt she’s a citizen, and I think she’d just laugh at whoever told her to pay taxes. The bar is probably cash transactions only.
If we’re almost at the end of this plotline, then I think I have the solution. It’s been long enough, and it’s good enough to just move on at this point.
Given Hell’s enormous global & multi-dimensional reach, I don’t see Sat following any law she didn’t feel obliged to follow. And yes I’m still intrigued by Hell having a healthcare system that rivals our own in terms how awful it is.
Definitely looking forward to how this is all wrapped up too.
