"Expected."

We started "Seasonal Affective D'spayre" back in October; I don't think the despair has let up in the slightest, but here we are. Personally, I often wonder if I have depression, or just everything just suck? Like, I don't have depression, I've got late-stage capitalism.
Tony refers to the "get-along shirt" Gwen put him and Captain America in, in Gwenpool Strikes Back! #5: I thought he was more put-out about it, but he seemed to have a sense of humor about the whole thing, like enjoying seeing other people like the Hulk punched in the face. (Steve does not see the humor in any of Gwen's shenanigans there!) (Written by Leah Williams, art by David Baldeon, color art by Jesus Aburtov & Guru-eFX.) Gwenpool is crazy powerful that whole series, as well as a bit crazy because she thinks her story was coming to an end. Nope! You may notice, though, her figure doesn't have her usual phone, since I dropped it on the second shot and have yet to find it again...

Next week, um, we conclude the She-Hulk/Hawkeye storyline from last September! Which I interrupted because I was more interested in the D'spayre one. But, H noticed something about Amadeus Cho, that will come up next week...

*Slow to ever increasing speed clap* 👏🏻

You sir truly are a student of the game. Definitely like how you managed to pull off those effects. Nicely done.

No you’re definitely not alone in feeling depressed right now. I’d say not only are we truly feeling the late-stage Capitalism blues, but also post-election blues & pre-WW3 blues as well the way things are going. Thankfully blogs like yours exists to help distract us from all that.

I did? Well then, yay capitalism! I’ll be happy for it, even if no one else is (but just capitalism, not the other stuff). Just one question- what did I notice?

I guess Gwen’s special ability is having no shame- D’Spayre definitely went easy on her and gave up really quickly. For that matter, I didn’t think he could just decide to go away. Something like that seems like you’d need to cleanse it with fire or banish it to another plane of existence- you know, ‘Oh, what a world, what a world …’ like in Wizard of Oz.

Also, wouldn’t at least one of them always be in their field of vision? That was the whole reason for the lockdown- to keep anyone outside from seeing them and spreading it. Aw, now I’m wondering what would happen if Daredevil came in- if you can’t see it, is it not real?

Still, it’s as good an ending as any and six months is a long time for you now. Best to just leave it there and move on.

You wondered how nobody felt or heard the Amadeus-Hulk jumping around; it would've shook the whole building! Kate noticed too, and the answer will surprise you with its dumbness!

Six months...geez, how long was the Kurt & Pool in space plotline? Like a hundred years, and a hundred years ago? That was fun because I could cheat and mix it up with Sat & Black Cat...Every once in a while I consider Sat being forced on the space trip, which she would just hate.

The Daredevil one certainly would be interesting in that would Dyspare evolve to match Matt’s hyper-heightened senses so that even HE could see him?
