"Blackmail."

I think I'm writing Elektra as rather sweary, but there's a reason. Also, she's not a big one for dialog, is she? Although there is a bit in Daredevil: Man Without Fear, where by the fireplace young Matt is just beyond smitten, and she admits she killed a guy the other day...maybe a couple? The girl might've survived, maybe...

There's maybe some in-universe inspiration for this one: way back in Amazing Spider-Man #69, I think the Kingpin gets nicked in a surprisingly hands-on robbery of an ancient tablet. That was pretty much the last time he exposed himself to the law for years, but it might have seemed out-of-character for him even then. Sometimes, even the most lead-from-the-rear baddie might see a brass ring that they have to make a grab for...

Considering how often it happens in comics, it would REALLY blow Kurt’s mind (or not, maybe) how often weapons of mass destruction & biological weapons easily fall into the hands of criminals & cartels. Sure they don’t keep them long, but just the fact they can get their hands on them in the first place is worrying.

This should be to see play out & wrap up. And honestly? It kinda is pretty impressive how The Owl’s managed to not get shot in the face by Frank. The red band Punisher book has Frank currently engaged in a two-front war with both the Kingpin (Who abducted Frank and implanted a mind control device on him to turn him into his personal hit man killing other criminals. He forced Microchip to help him btw, but Frank managed to find out about the device & set himself free with the forced help of two EMTs) and Tombstone. Good stuff.

Is Frank even aware of the Owl? Like Kurt said, he’s fifth-string so the intersect is a bit low.

Does Daredevil (or I guess, any Daredevil) really work with the police? The costumed vigilante thing seems like it would be a sticking point, even with so many decent ones. Plus, Matt just doesn’t seem like the sort of guy to get free food. The Spiders, I think that’s been documented as true, but Matt looks relatively refined and well-enough fed.

I’d like to think Frank is considering he’s a crime boss, I just can’t give you an in universe explanation for why Frank hasn’t killed him yet.

Good question about Matt. Depends on the current mayoral administration?

Well, if it’s still JJJ that’s a hard no. I admittedly have no idea who’s mayor now.
