Kurt takes only a moment to be sad and/or freaked out, before starting to work through what he was going to need to do to rescue Sat; because you get to do stuff like that in a superhero universe. I wish to whatever gods there are it worked more like that here, because there's a lotta people in this country missing loved ones that don't even know where they are.
In regular Marvel continuity, do we see a lot of time-travelling aliens, or is that nonsense largely an earth thing? And can Zero Units travel through time? This one can't, but again, so far he doesn't seem to be sentient, either.

Ahh the Gamerverse Black Cat. Good figure honestly. Really nailed her likeness considering notoriously inconsistent Hasbro is in terms of quality and detail depending on the character.
That’s actually a really good on if time-travel is simply a human thing or if other alien races have or seek to have that capability as well. Of the top of my head I can’t think of any in the Marvel Universe, but I’m sure the DCU had a couple.
Yeah, although they mostly live in the far future. I don’t know if that’s ironic or not. Still, there is a theory that Boom Tubes distort time, space and size so that’s at least one prominent modern-ish example (how long’s it been since anyone used those- 2, 3 reboots?)
So wait- are humans ‘so mething’ or ‘something’? Because either one is accurate. Not sure I’d want to do the whole ‘rescue mission’ thing here though- you bring that sort of stuff in, the super-powered villains come with it too.
Seems fitting for Cat to become a space pirate- she’s been out there since Kurt and Pool came back like a million years ago (granted, they were out there a million years too but that’s neither here nor there). Must have gone through a space warp or something because she looks like she’s 14 years old and 20 pounds lighter now. Is the video game based on the Ultimate Universe or something?
Oh, also- why is Kurt so concerned? Sat can take care of herself- she’ll probably be back by the time he’s ready to leave. Just trust your girlfriend, dude- she’s more powerful than you and has probably died and come back more times than you (seriously, it seems like she died at the end of almost every storyline of hers I’ve read).
It kinda is yeah, certainly influenced by it but mostly its own thing.
