I've had a lot of meetings lately, and feel a lot like Doc Terror here:

Reminds me of the end of the video for 'Smells Like Teen Spirit.'
From The Nocturnals #1, "Black Planet, part one" Written, created, and illustrated by Daniel Brereton. I liked this series when it started at Malibu, and I know it's been a few other places as well: Dark Horse, Oni, and Image.

I started re-reading this last week, got interrupted, and haven't had time to finish it yet. Maybe in a bit, since I want a couple Gunwitch pics, and to maybe research what happened to the proposed Nocturnals action figures. Besides, this is March 18th, I know you're all hungover as hell, so more tomorrow, 'kay?

"Figures."

Yeah, those little Handful of Heroes figures wouldn't be in-scale there, but I don't care...

Tonight, probably going to go see the Crazies, since I saw the old George Romero version on YouTube some time ago (and surprisingly, I think you still could find it) and it should be pretty good. I'm not expecting Shakespeare, just a good solid horror movie. I'll let you know!

Then, my weekend will largely be setting up some new strips, which I'm excited for. I wonder if I've started the Question one yet...

If I get Forager, expect me to continue flogging this joke:

I think Wonder Woman is supposed to be a peaceful warrior, and not going around decapitating bad guys, but if she throws that shield at someone, that's exactly what's going to happen.

Ripping off an old issue of What The--?! for the Fourth.

So, there was an old What The--?! page with Captain America facing off against Baron Zemo, Madame Masque, the Controller, and Dr. Doom: the All-Scar Squadron. Yeah, it was funnier when All-Star Squadron was still on the racks.

I don't remember, so I'm probably just spreading a rumor, but there was a picture going around of Thomas Jane as Jonah Hex. Anyone know what that was about? Makeup test? Mockup to build interest? Fan-made homage? I know somebody suggested early Halloween costume, and Jane seems cool, so maybe. Anyway, have a good Fourth, and stay safe!

Oh, and V (of the V for Vendetta movie) doesn't get his mask off because A. it's not removable, and B. the last thing I need is Alan Moore turning me into a toad or something. Read more!

"Dummies."
God, my cholesterol has gotta be lower after like five straight boxes of Cheerios, but I keep getting the same two toys...weird looking buggers.

Since I'm going out of my way to avoid spoilers for the Dark Knight, I'm not sure if the movie has the Joker's origin or if they just hit the ground running. So, I don't even know if that's makeup, or if whatever happened to him is a bit spotchier than it is in the comics. All I'm positive of is, there is no way on God's green hell that the Joker should ever get laid again. Harley Quinn included, no matter how insane she is. Green. Pubes. And that's probably not the worst thing in that picture. Blech.

Anyway, have a good weekend! Read more!
