I feel like Rich has given Thanos a good fight in the past--better than his showing in Infinity Gauntlet #4--but this issue, while the Champions manage to beat the Chitauri Warbringer, Ironheart gets her suit destroyed by Thanos, then Sam gets his suit taken away by the Nova Corps. So, the cover's a bit of a lie.
