I could also be wrong about this, but I don't think we see Reed and Ben hang out enough in a non-FF, non-family, non-work setting. I'd be glad to see them go to the fights, a game, Dave and Busters, whatever. I also doubt Reed gets in on the traditional poker games, partly because he's incapable of not counting cards; but I suspect he doesn't bluff. At least, not at first: Reed plays each hand like math, betting precisely calculated amounts based on his odds. He wouldn't bluff, until late in the game when he realizes he could. He probably has some weird, stretchy twitch to his poker face, though. Probably not quite Elongated Man's nose, but...Moreover, Reed has almost certainly made a ton of super-deadly crap, probably unintentionally; or items ripe for misuse. This could explain why Reed's inventions haven't trickled down to the general populace: his tech could all be based on the same general principles, so if you understand something as harmless as a hovercycle, you could build a mega-death ray.
Does Ben still drink? I know he used to like a frosty brew back in the day, but I haven't seen him chug any of late.

Well, since he's married now and adopted kids, if he wasn't drinking before, he damn sure has to be by now, haha.
I'm glad you pointed that out about Forge & Reed and how they'd be bonding like besties over tech stuff like that. Forge is essentially a design engineer/engineer technician (good money to be made in being one of those...I think) in the same vein as MacGyver, except MacGyver would know 9 times out of 10 why it worked, not just that it worked.
Wonder why Forge never created a cure for the Legacy Virus/ Mutant AIDS back in the day? Too quick of an easy fix probably, but still...
Forge can cure the Legacy Virus, but only by turning it into the techno-organic virus. Corpses surveyed were not pleased with this course of treatment.
